Partnership, Perseverance & Positive Energy

Partnership, Perseverance & Positive Energy

March always feels like a turning point. More light. More momentum. More reminders of why relationships matter — in coffee and in community.

This month, we’re proud to highlight a new (and already beloved) partner:

Peru – Rutas del Inca Cooperative

Our featured coffee comes from the Rutas del Inca Agrarian Cooperative, a Fair Trade Organic partner made up of more than 300 small coffee-producing families farming at elevations between 1,600–2,400 meters above sea level.

This cooperative represents everything we value in a coffee relationship — transparency, sustainability, and shared long-term vision. Fair Trade certification helps ensure farmers receive equitable compensation and reinvest in their communities, while Organic practices protect the land, the farmers who cultivate it, and those of us who get to enjoy it every day in our cups.

Encased by mountain peaks and cooled by steady high-altitude winds, this region produces dense, beautifully structured coffees. Beyond traditional varieties, Rutas del Inca also cultivates boutique selections like Pache, showcasing both innovation and dedication to quality.

Our Roast Approach

We’ve chosen to roast this coffee as a true medium — right in the sweet spot.

Our goal wasn’t to overpower it or under develop it, but to honor the cooperative’s hard work by drawing out the balance, sweetness, and structure they’ve built at origin. The result is a layered, approachable cup that reflects both altitude and intention.

At Daily Rise, sustainability isn’t a trend — it’s a long-term commitment to people, land, and the future of coffee. Partnerships like Rutas del Inca allow us to continue promoting positive energy from farm to cup.

A Little Irish Cheer – Starting March 1st

In our cafés, Irish Cream Cold Foam makes its return in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day.

It’s smooth, lightly sweet, and just festive enough to welcome spring without overpowering your daily ritual. Whether you're pairing it with espresso or cold brew, it’s a fun seasonal twist we look forward to each year.

Big News at Harmons: Fill Your Own Container

The roastery crew has been working overtime ramping up production — and for good reason.

You can now fill your own container with freshly roasted Daily Rise beans at Harmons Grocery bulk coffee bins.

This marks the final step in a partnership that began over 10 years ago with just four products on shelf. What started small has grown into a full-scale relationship we’re honored to steward for another 10+ years.

Being able to offer freshly roasted beans in bulk — reducing packaging and increasing accessibility — feels like a meaningful evolution of that partnership.

Weathering a Tough Green Coffee Year

To be transparent: this has been one of the hardest years we’ve seen for securing green coffee.

It hasn’t just been high prices — it’s been availability. Coffees we’ve relied on for years were suddenly limited or unavailable. Relationships were tested. Forecasting became more complex. Every decision required extra diligence.

But we’re grateful to say we believe we’ve weathered the storm.

We’ve secured some outstanding coffees that we’re genuinely excited to share in the coming months. This Peru is just the beginning.

In coffee, relationships matter — from farm to importer to roaster to barista to you. We don’t take any of those connections lightly.

March 8th: National Women’s Day

This year, Daylight Savings Time and National Women’s Day land on the same weekend — and it feels fitting.

The ones who bring light into our homes and communities share the same day we “spring forward.”

With nearly 80% of our team being women, and with a woman as co-founder of Daily Rise, we want to pause and recognize their impact. They are the backbone of our cafés, our roastery, and our community.

Strong farms. Strong teams. Strong homes. Strong communities.

March is a reminder of all of it.

Here’s to brighter mornings, meaningful partnerships, and coffee that carries stories from the Andes to your cup.

Promoting Positive Energy,
Your Daily Rise Crew
