With Snowbasin Resort celebrating its 85th season and us celebrating 12 years of supplying coffee to the mountain, it’s hard not to reflect on the traditions that have shaped so many unforgettable days at this truly majestic resort.

For our family, Snowbasin has always been about time together—flying down the groomers, floating through fresh powder, and those quiet, meaningful conversations in the gondola on the way to the top before shredding back down. Lately, we’ve especially loved enjoying the new Becker Chairlift and the recent widening of Bear Hollow. That stretch now feels like surfing on a hillside—a smooth, flowing way to cruise through the slow zone while still keeping that mountain rhythm.

And, of course, every great day on the mountain wraps up the same way: coffee for mom and dad, chai for the kids, all inside Earl’s Lodge. We know our coffee is good—but there’s something about enjoying it after a full day outside that makes it taste even better. Experience and flavor go hand in hand. Every time we brew Basin Blend at home, it instantly takes us back to those mountaintop moments.

This season, Snowbasin made a meaningful investment in its coffee program by adding a new La Marzocco espresso machine in Earl’s Lodge. That now makes two La Marzocco machines on the mountain, with the other located at Needles Lodge. These are the same machines and the same espresso beans we use in our cafés, delivering the same caliber of espresso that fuels both your mountain adventures and your everyday life.
