Organic Papua New Guinea – Lamari (Washed)

Light Roast

Grown high in the Eastern Highlands of Papua New Guinea, our Lamari is a beautifully structured washed coffee with depth, sweetness, and clarity. Smallholder farmers cultivate this organic lot in rich volcanic soil, producing a cup that is both vibrant and grounded.

We roast Lamari light to protect its natural sweetness and showcase its clean, cocoa-forward character. The result is a balanced cup with layered brown sugar notes, gentle citrus lift, and a smooth, lingering finish.

This is highland coffee at its best — adventurous yet approachable.

Old beans instead of fresh.

"Got old beans. The whole point of buying from the roastery is to get freshly raosted coffee. I called them and got them switched out but the ordeal was unnecessary."

"The organic Papua New Guinea coffee beans are smooth and great flavor! I purchased beans for a friend who loves Daily Rise, and I purchased a bag for myself. The service at Daily Rise is definitely 5 stars! Thanks to Jake and the rest of the crew working on 12/7/23."

Fav flavor profile

"I tried this coffee a few years ago when I was visiting family in Utah. It has a really awesome flavor profile. And I have not been able to find anything similar in California. So I ordered some and gifted some to friends and family. It is still one of my favorite flavor profiles for either iced or hot coffee. It's great and a french press or a Keurig or regular drip and cold brew."
